Negligent entrustment clearly means nothing to these people. Also, I know at least one business textbook and one college level communications textbook, in addition to what I assume is any idiot's guide or for dummies book on the subject which might mention it's expected that people will lie about four things, themselves, their competition, the tools and optimum conditions necessary for the resource to function at peak performance, and how long it will take to finish the job or acclimate to set conditions. Beyond that the truth is just a matter of the other party basing their decisions on observation, checking facts before acts, and making the fewest assumptions about the representation they've created of a person's character. Other than that it's a matter of lying honorably while avoiding hypotheticals or creating patches through the language morality.
